Located behind the vehicle, the Cargo Saddlebag produces no aerodynamic drag, saving you big money on gas (car top carriers will lower your gas mileage 5 mpg on average). It simply does not get hit with the wind, rain, and bugs like a conventional car top carrier. The Cargo Saddlebag’s Unique Design Features

The Cargo Saddlebag’s zipper protection flap keeps water out, however, if you would like to be 110% covered, you can add the PackRight waterproof liner. The Saddlebag has a handle on each side so that it can be easily lifted off of the vehicle and taken right into your your destination. A plastic insert fits in the bottom of the bag to provide support and structure. The insert is flexible enough for the bag to be rolled up and stored in its stuff sack when finished. A license plate sleeve is provided on the rear of the bag. An instruction sheet is sewn right inside the bag always there when you need it.

Secure Mounting Straps

The Cargo Saddlebag has two adjustable straps that attach to your luggage rack, either the side rails or rear cross bar. It includes two bottom straps which attach to your bumper, tow hitch, or underneath the bumper. Also included is a long support strap that can be tightened around the bag and back door like a belt or routed under the bag and up to the front cross bar to help distribute the load.

If you have a luggage rack (either side rails or cross bars) and you have a distance of 40" between your rear tail lights, the Saddlebag will be the best cargo bag you will ever use.
